Is Honors and Phi theta Kappa worth it in college?

I am on my third semester in college, business admin is my major. However, I applied and am starting honors cles in the spring. They did not have cles I really need to take but I have to take 2 honors cles per semester. Needless to say I will be taking longer to complete my degree because of it. I am not really angry because I am thinking that honors will make a difference. Will it? Do future employers care? Do future colleges car?
