How would you test the salt content of potato chips?

I'm supposed to design an experiment that tests the salt content in various potato chips. So far I've come up with boiling chips in distilled water to remove the salt into the water then testing the salty water. Now here's the problem; how do I do that? I need a way to test the amount of salt!
