Where can I find help financially for undergraduate school?

I'm 28 and don't have anybody to co-sign anything for me, I need money for living expenses. I don't have a car so the job search is going a little slow right now. feels like theres nobody out there. theres some students here that have both parents behind them but me I have nothing my dad past away 4years ago and my mother has really bad credit from the debt my dad left her. all of my family i've asked for help from but they cannot help me in any field, none of them have credit or they have bad credit no agency will help without a co-signer is there help out there for someone like me??
